Self-portrait x Dumplings’ Legend
On 18 February 2024, Self-portrait’s Founder and Creative Director Han Chong and CEO of The British Fashion Council Caroline Rush CBE, hosted an evening honouring Lunar New Year and creativity in British Fashion.
Celebrating the importance of unity, community and shared rituals, the event held at the iconic restaurant Dumplings’ Legends in Chinatown, paid homage to the annual tradition of welcoming in a prosperous new year ahead, coinciding with London Fashion Week.
Frieze Masters London
At Frieze Masters 2023, our intimate 40-seat restaurant added a touch of charm to the event. We proudly presented a hand-curated selection of exquisite dishes. From delicate, melt-in-your-mouth steam dumplings to the flavourful Xiao Long Bao and an array of regional Chinese delicacies, our menu was a vivid celebration of Chinese cuisine's diverse and tantalizing flavors. This culinary journey unfolded amidst the world of art and culture, transforming our restaurant into a hub of culinary artistry, where aesthetics and taste blended seamlessly.
Awa sake master class event
On April 14th, 2024, sake enthusiasts were treated to an exclusive Masterclass at INÉ's newly unveiled sake lounge.
Led by Master Brewer Naoki Toyota, attendees embarked on a tasting journey exploring the diverse flavours of sparkling sake from The Sparkling Sake Brewery. Four distinct glasses, including classic 'awa' and limited edition infusions, offered a glimpse into the artistry behind crafting sparkling sake.
Hosted by The Sparkling Sake Brewery, this event provided a unique opportunity to delve into the world's only brewery dedicated solely to this craft.
Taku x Suntory Whisky
On September 28th 2023, Taku commemorated The House of Suntory's 100th anniversary. Guests enjoyed a guided whisky journey led by Suntory's ambassador, delving into Japanese whisky's rich heritage and nuanced flavours.
Taku curated four unique dishes to perfectly match the featured Japanese whiskies, creating a seamless fusion of Japan's finest flavors and Suntory's exceptional spirits. Guests could choose from an exclusive menu, with options for food-only or food with alcohol pairing. This was a celebration that will leave a lasting impression in the world of Japanese whisky.
